We’re looking for young professionals who are ready to take their career to the next level, build their networks, and advocate for the next generation of workers in career development and employment services. As part of the First Work Youth Council, you’ll have the opportunity to grow your skills, shape the future of the sector, and become a true leader

• Grow Your Career: Connect with like-minded peers and leaders from across Ontario.
• Make Your Voice Heard: Influence key decisions and share your insights on youth experiences in Employment Services.
• Create Impact: Lead networking sessions, help plan major events, and work on passion projects that will make a difference

• Attend First Work’s Futures Conference 2025 and Aspire Youth Summit
• Join bi-weekly virtual meetings (1 hour each)
• Participate in quarterly Frontline Meetings as facilitators
• Dedicate 5-10 hours a month on key projects and blog posts

Term: May 2025 – February 2026

Eligibility: Young professionals, ages 18-29, working at First Work member organizations in Ontario.
